Story

Poul Hundevad (1917–2011) was a Danish furniture designer, cabinetmaker, and manufacturer. He established his own furniture factory in Vamdrup in 1946, producing chairs, tables, and other wooden furniture.

One of his best-known works is the Guldhøj Stool, based on a Bronze Age folding chair preserved by the National Museum of Denmark and adapted for modern use. It combines a folding wooden frame with a leather seat.

Hundevad designed the Model 30 Chair in 1958. His furniture was also marketed through Domus Danica, a joint sales organization for Danish furniture manufacturers.
