Story
Holger Georg Jensen (1927–2001) was a Danish cabinetmaker and furniture designer born in Tønder. He followed his father W. Jensen, who operated a furniture shop and machine carpentry business in the town.
Jensen led Tønder Møbelværk and produced chairs and tables associated with the Kubus name. Known examples include the Model 97 rocking chair and the Model 72/80 coffee table with its star-shaped base and carefully arranged veneer. He should not be confused with the silversmith Georg Jensen.
