DENMARK-DESIGNは、デンマーク家具の歴史と文化を記録するためのアーカイブです。デザイナー、製作工房、家具モデルを軸に、それぞれの家具が生まれた背景や時代、技術について調査・整理しています。

家具の名称や年代だけでなく、誰が考え、どこでつくられ、どのような考え方や技術がそこにあったのか。個々の家具を手がかりに、デンマーク家具文化をより深く理解できる資料を蓄積していくことを目的としています。

掲載情報は継続的に確認・整理し、調査の進展にあわせて更新していきます。

Documenting Danish furniture culture for the future.

DENMARK-DESIGN is an archive dedicated to documenting the history and culture of Danish furniture. Organized around designers, cabinetmakers and manufacturers, and individual furniture models, the archive researches the periods, techniques, and circumstances in which these works were created.

Rather than recording names and dates alone, DENMARK-DESIGN aims to trace who conceived each piece, where it was made, and the ideas and craftsmanship behind it. Through individual works of furniture, the archive seeks to build a deeper reference for understanding Danish furniture culture.

Information is reviewed, organized, and updated as research progresses.
